So Proud!

So for the past couple of weeks before I put Mason in the bath tub I like to put him on the potty just to see if he will go and until today he never has! SO.....today after lunch I took him in his room to change his diaper and could tell he had to pee so I rushed him in the bathroom and put him on the potty!! At first he just looked at me and smiled and then looked down and started to pee in the potty!! I was so proud of him and keep singing the pee pee in the potty song and told him he was a good boy for going on the potty so when I went to lay him down to put his dipaer on he clapped for himself! Now I'm not officially potty train him yet but I would like to keep putting him on the potty here and there just to get us a step in the right direction and so he won't be afraid! We will keep everyone posted when we do and let you know how it goes!

9 months old

Ok we are a little behind on this....but Mason did tons of new things this month and pick the perfect time to do it! He did most of his new things while Daddy was on vacation!! He started waving bye bye,crawling the correct way,clapping,saying DaDa,had his first piece of pizza,walking along the couch,walking with his stand up walking toy,had his first playdate when we went to visit Madison and Nicole,and sitting himself up from the crawling positon!

Mason's first trip to the beach!

We took Mason to the beach for his first time and it was great! He loved playing in the water and eating the sand!! :0)

Mason's first 4th of july

For Mason's first 4th of july we went to our nephews birthday and while we were there he went on his first water slide and had a blast!

My First Father's Day!

This was my first father's day with my son!! We spent the day at the Florida Aquarium. Mason was amazed at all the different animals they have there. He even got to pet an alligator. Mommy and Mason made me a nice father's day card. Jessica made a good breakfast before we left for the aquarium. When we got home from there we ordered pizza and we hung out with Mason till his bedtime. I have to say overral all it was a very good father's day and its going to be hard for Mason to top it next year!

8 months old!

Mason is doing so many new things this month! He's learned how to pull himself up on things,he's doing the army crawl very well now and fast,he knows how to pick up his food and feed himself,he can take his shoes off,he has ventured out from the living room and is crawling all over the house,he's getting in so many teeth in,he likes to shake his head no,he likes to go swimming,he had his first ear infections :0(,went on his first ride,he loves to give kisses,and he also likes to watch Elmo!!

Busch Gardens Trip 6-6-09

We took Mason and our Nephew Connor to Busch Gardens on Saturday and we all had a blast! Mason at 8 months old rode his first ride and Connor at 6 years old rode his first roller coaster! Then we all played in the water area in Dragon Land, which was very nice since it was hot out!

Storytime!

Yesterday on Thursday we took Mason for the first time to Storytime! He loved it! They do stories ,play songs, sign language, and there's playtime. And the best part is...that he can play with other babies that are his age and Mommy and Daddy's get to play along and be there with them! Yesterday, Mason was the only baby...but the teacher said that happens. One week she may only have 1 and next week there maybe 4 to 6! So we will have to wait see! Either way We or I depending on if Chad can go in to work later will keep taking him every week cause we think this is a good thing for him! We hope there's more babies next week so he can see how he's going to be and make baby friends! He is such a good boy.

7 months old!

This are pictures I took for Mason's 7 month pictures a couple of weeks ago! We think they are so cute with the rocking horse that his Aunt Amy,Uncle Josh,and Cassidy got him...He loves that thing. Mason is doing so many new things.....he's working on crawling( the army crawl)lol, sitting up very well all by himself for long periods of time, he plays very well with all of his toys and also learning how they work and what they do, he's trying to talk...on Monday it sounded like he said MAMA!!!!!! :0) :0) and Mason is getting two more teeth in..one on the top and one on bottom!!

My First Mother's Day ;0)

This was my first Mother's Day with Mason......Last year around this time was my first Mother's Day to be cause he was still in my belly!! LOL Anyways it was a wonderful day!! Chad and Mason made me breakfast,lunch,and Dinner,we hung out by the pool and took Mason to the park!! He loves it there!! I'm very grateful to have such a WONDERFUL,BEAUTIFUL,HEALTHY,BABY BOY !!
